The Asset Manager has been enhanced with new and improved features, while continuing to serve as your central hub for uploading, storing, and managing images and design files. This powerful tool ensures your assets can be easily accessed and reused across all your mailer templates, streamlining your creative process.

Every Postalytics account, including each client account in the Postalytics Agency Edition, comes equipped with its own dedicated Asset Manager for seamless organization and collaboration.

What Type Of Files Can I Upload to The Asset Manager?

The Asset Manager is optimized to manage .JPEG and .PNG files, each with a maximum file size of 5 MB. For the best results:

  • .JPEG files (recommended at 300dpi) are ideal for most images, including full background images.
  • .PNG files are perfect for images requiring transparency, such as logos and icons.

By following these guidelines, you can ensure your assets are displayed with the highest quality in your mailer templates.

How Can I Access The Asset Manager?

The Asset Manager can be accessed in one of two ways.

  1. Use the drop down menu found under “Creative” at the top of the home page, selecting Manage Assets.

  2. Within the Postalytics Editor, as shown below. Note that the Asset Manager will be labeled as “Image Picker” with this option.

No matter the option, once you’re in, the following applies:

Creating Folders and Uploading Images

Create Folders

Creating folders, to assist with organization, can be done in two quick steps.

  1. From the Asset Manager Home screen, right click within the main window and select “New Folder”, or click the folder icon in the upper left tool bar.

  1. Name your folder and hit enter.

Once your folders are created, you can simply move files, by right clicking and selecting “Move”, or using the move icon in the upper left tool bar.

Upload Images

Uploading images is made simple by clicking on “Upload Images” at the top center of the main window area, or from within a folder.

You’ll then be able to upload one image or multiple images one of two ways.

  1. Use the “Browse” button to select image files.

  1. Drag and drop image files onto the “Select multiple files…” area.

Click “Upload” once all files have been added.

When uploading images, ensure that all images are either .JPEG or .PNG and are no more than 5 MB.
