How to Set Your Lead Markup

Setting Your Lead Markup

Your lead markup is a percentage added on top of MailBack™'s wholesale per-lead price. Sub-accounts pay the marked-up price; you keep the difference.

This is one of two markups. You can also mark up the recurring add-on fee — see Add-On Subscription Markup.

Set a default markup

In your agency settings, enter a markup percentage. This becomes the default applied to every sub-account's MailBack™ lead pricing.

Example: a 25% markup on a wholesale lead price of $0.20 means the sub-account pays $0.25.

Set it to 0 to pass through wholesale pricing with no markup.

Per-sub-account overrides (optional)

You can override the default for an individual sub-account when you want different pricing for a specific client. If no override is set, the agency default applies.

What the sub-account sees

The marked-up price shows everywhere the sub-account configures or reviews a pixel — the tier cards, the Per-Lead Price summary, Compare Data Plans, and the review/confirmation step — so it always matches what they'll actually be billed.

Note: Changes apply to pricing shown and billed going forward. Leads already delivered aren't repriced.
